Super Cool!

Fusions is such a cool powerset. Combining two different powers/people into one, creating something greater than the sum of it's parts.

Which is why it's super extra awesomely cool when Boboiboy Movie 2 gave our favourite superhero, Boboiboy, the fusion ability.

Heck Yeah! What's more interesting is that Boboiboy has 7 elemental powers. And he only needs two for a fusion. 

So this means Boboiboy has a total of...of...of lots of potential fusion forms.

No, my maths totally isn't rusty, what are you talking about?

Regardless, there's a lot of potential for fusions. Heck, some fans have already came up with awesome fan-made fusions.

Which is why it is super cool that the Boboiboy Galaxy Musim 2 comics gifted us with more fusion forms! And obviously, they all are terbaik! One of them has even become my personal favourite. And that form is;

Boboiboy Gentar!

Gentar. Fear. The fusion form that strikes fear into the hearts of enemies! And a special place in my heart! Wanna know why? Well, you see-

Disclaimer: This post will obviously contain spoilers for the Boboiboy Galaxy Season 2 comics. So either read the comics first, or just don't care about the spoilers I suppose.

Alright. With that out of the way, you wanna know why I loved Boboiboy Gentar? 

It's because of how his powers...doesn't work. Initially.

"Eh?"

Yeah. I was just as surprised when Gentar's powers didn't work. I was like, "Did Boboiboy ran out of juice?" It doesn't help that Boboiboy Gentar's personality is being arrogantly dumb. All that bravado and cockiness, but with none to show, lol.

As it turns out, the reason Gentar's powers didn't work is because of the elements used. Halilintar(ThunderStorm) and Gempa(Quake). Ground absorbs electricity. Just like in Pokemon real life. Huh.

Which is interesting. And does make sense. Look at Boboiboy's previous fusions. They all complement each other or at least, didn't overpower the other.

FrostFire: Fire and Water balances each other.

Glacier: A real life phenomenon.

Supra: Solar and Halilintar are both energy based elementals.

Sori: Sunlight boosts Grass growth.

Which is why I loved this form so much. It shows that Boboiboy can't just fuse elementals willy-nilly. He has to think carefully first. It's also interesting, because(for me) this is the rare time where a fusion doesn't work. Two power or characters are unable to fuse. I can't remember seeing a failed fusion before!

No, seriously. I really don't remember it. Has there been a (popular) show where a fusion doesn't work? I would like to know.

Regardless, there's another reason why I loved this form so much. Because as it turns out, this form does have it uses. In that, Boboiboy Gentar...

has the ability Motor Drive!

Okay, but for real, the ability to nullify and absorb any energy based attacks, and convert it for himself, is bonkers! Bonkersly awesome! Gentar is able to efficiently use his metallic weapon...which kinda makes him Boboiboy Metal...

Not that I'm complaining! And his golem, a "wajib" addition for Gempa forms, is cool as well!

That tanjak...destar...tengkolok(what's the difference?) is *mwah* such a nice touch.
